What to Expect

  • What's the music like?

    • We sing songs – whether new or old – in both contemporary and traditional music styles. Song selection is primarily based on the textual content. We also enjoy a variety of instrumental accompaniment.
  • How people dress?

    • At Trinity we encourage you to dress comfortably. When you come you will see some people with shorts and t-shirts on, some with button up shirts and jeans, and some wearing a tie or nice dress. You wear whatever you feel most comfortable in and you’ll fit in just fine!
  • What about my kids?

    • We at Trinity Lutheran Church love having children and infants in worship, they are a part of our family just as God has made them. As kids squirm and wiggle they also sing, pray, and worship God. Let’s teach them this Church is just as much for them as it is for everybody else.
      • Worship Options for Children

        • Sanctuary– Children are always welcome to be part of worship. Rainbow bags are available in the back of the church. A basket of soft toys is available in the Library. You can also hear the service in the library.

        • Sunday School- Sunday school is available for all children ages 3 year olds– 5th grade. Children gather during the 9:00 worship service September – mid May and explore the stories of the Bible.

        • Nursery–is located just below the sanctuary. The nursery is staffed during the 9:00 service from the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before Memorial Day. The nursery is open for use during the 10:30 service, however it is NOT staffed.

  • Can I take communion?

    • Holy Communion is for all who believe and confess that Jesus is Lord and Savior. Children who have not yet received communion instruction are invited forward for a blessing.
  • How can I get connected?

    • We offer new member orientations twice a year (typically in the fall and spring). You are welcome to join a bible study, small group, W/ECLA circle, and volunteer! Please see our Outreach and Adult Ministry pages for more ways to connect.
  • Where do I park?

    • Trinity has three parking lots. The first lot is located behind the church. The second lot is located across from the front enterance of the church on Newell Ave. The third parking lot is located across the street on the west side of the church on Elm Street.
  • How many people attend a service?

    • Attendance varies from week to week. A typical Traditional 9:00 Service has about 175 people worshiping. Around 80 people worship during the Contemporary 10:00 Service. Our Wednesday night service varies greatly from 40-120 people.
